Best Popeyes I’ve been to! You can tell they really care about their customers and food. It was hot and fresh (which is rare these days for fast food). The customer service was outstanding! The lady at the register even dropped a sauce I didn’t order in there saying, “something new to try”, (btw it was GOOD). Made my day :)

I’m not sure what happened with the bad reviews, but I’ve been to this location numerous times (I drive from Chattanooga, because it’s worth it) and I have yet to have a bad experience.
My food has always been fresh. The employees are always nice and pleasant. And the lobby is typically clean (traffic inside has an impact), especially in comparison to their competitors.

Today October 20th 2025 I ordered online. Got to the drive thru. Waited 28 mins to get to the window and pick up my order for my family. Very cold and stale chicken tenders and terribel slaw runny and has a bad after taste. Had to pull forward with the other 4 people waiting. Then she brings my food out and it is the wrong order when I got home after assuring it was correct. Ordered white meat chicken got a spicy dark meat and sides was not correct either missing beans and rice. Really Unbelievable! This location will close soon just like the others have. 3.3 Google rating should be a sign to get new management and train the folks. Tried to call the store to get a remake and no answer. For sure didn't want to wait in line for 30 more mins. I don't leave 1 stars often but when I do it's deserved. Owners need to be more involved and making sure everything is ran correct and clean! This has happened before so it's my last time. Never get another dollar from us.

OK where to start. I went in the drive-through at 7:30 PM and they were real slow like usual business wise, so I tried to order chicken tenders they said they’re out of those. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and they said they’re out of the fries so I wanted a lemonade as a drink. They’re out of lemonade. honestly, the chicken sandwich was good, but the rice was horrible. It wasn’t cooked all the way so there’s another thing I was looking forward to that didn’t happen. There’s always an issue with the store when I pick up sometimes door dashing they’re out of things also so I feel sorry for the franchise owner because I know it’s hard to find good help these days.

I don’t know what’s going on with this location, but this was the worst experience we’ve ever had. We placed two mobile orders and have been waiting well over an hour for our food. This is unacceptable. We were told multiple times that the food would be ready “shortly,” but we’re still waiting, and there’s no sign of it coming anytime soon. This location always has a wait, but it’s never been this bad.
On top of that, we were charged $11 for just two drinks and two pies while waiting on the rest of our order. After sitting here for over an hour with nothing but those drinks, that charge felt ridiculous. Honestly, after such a long wait, we shouldn’t have been charged for the drinks at all. It just doesn’t make sense.
As diabetics, waiting this long without food wasn’t just frustrating…it put us in a difficult spot. We chose to stop here because it’s conveniently located off the interstate, but having to wait over an hour on mobile orders is unheard of and made it harder for us to manage our blood sugar.
Meanwhile, the dining area was filthy. Every single table in the restaurant was dirty, and nobody had cleaned them the entire time we were waiting. The bathrooms were just as bad, with paper towels stuffed on the doorknob handles, which felt very unsanitary. The entire place gave off a nasty vibe, and after seeing the state of the dining room and restrooms, I don’t have much confidence in how clean the kitchen might be.
When we finally got our food, the shrimp was disappointing—it was like eating air. It was all crispy breading with barely anything inside.
To make things worse, customers from the drive-thru were coming inside to complain that they’d been waiting a long time, too. The drive-thru line was backed up and barely moving.
We understand that restaurants get busy, but this level of disorganization is beyond anything we’ve seen. Popeyes needs to make some serious improvements here, whether it’s hiring more staff, better management, or handling mobile orders more efficiently.
I’ll give credit where it’s due: the apple pies were good. I don’t think they could have messed those up, and Popeyes does have better prices than some of their competitors. But that’s about where the positives end. Unfortunately, we can’t give a fair rating for the chicken because our kids were so hungry by the time we got home that they ate it all before we had a chance to try it.
As for ratings:
• Food: 3 stars (the pies were good, but the shrimp was disappointing, and we didn’t get to try the chicken)
• Atmosphere: 1 star (because of the filth and disorganization)
• Cleanliness/Quality: 1 star (based on how nasty the dining area and restrooms were)
I’m not saying I want this location to shut down—I want them to do better. I’ll be waiting for them to improve, and when I see 50 five-star reviews from other customers, I’ll give them another chance. Until then, we won’t be back.
