This hotel is very difficult to find the entrance drive for, due to the corner lot being barricaded off, but it is conveniently located just outside of Chattanooga. The rooms are nice, but aren't as clean as I would expect a Hilton property to be. The woman at the front dest was very nice at check-in.

Lovely room, pool, and work out area. Breakfast was always fresh and really yummy every morning. Only downside is that even though they say they do room service every other day of your stay, we had none whatsoever. Which is fine but pretty disappointing

Rooms are very small, nice but small, bed adequate. Clean and only a few years old. This is Hiltons "new concept" holtel chain. I am not a fan. They short staff these to save money. Staff though was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is a joke even compared to their other brands. Plan on going to waffle house for breakfas6.

A really good Tru. My room was clean (although the shower could use a little more detailing), the service was helpful, and the breakfast was good. They do have laundry, but I wish you could use your card instead of coins like other locations. It's also in a great location.

Rooms were great, beds were too firm. Staff was welcoming. Breakfast was impressive. They have an automatic pancake maker and offered pumpking spice syrup and sprinkles! They also have a fresh yogurt maker with granola and dried fruit at the station.

Great location off the interstate for travelers and easy check in. Please know if you book thru Hotels.com or Hotwire you will end up in their designated handicapped rooms. Faucet did not function properly and sink did not drain. Large room size, but broken floor tiles and other issues made me question the cleanliness and upkeep of the place.

I was so disappointed with this stay. Check in took a bit but I was almost 1am, so I wasn't upset about that. We were so tired we went straight to bed, barely turned the lights on. The bed was so uncomfortable and noisy. Definitely need a new mattress because there were clear indentation from many years of use. We woke up early to notice that there were SO many bugs everywhere, ladybugs (or the Japanese beetle, I dont know). I took some pictures. When we travel we usually dont have housekeeping clean our room but I asked them to this time. I felt like there were even more bugs than before. The bed was remade with a pillowcase with blood on it. I was so excited for this spontaneous trip with my husband to get away and adventure. This hotel definitely was the worst part of it all. A huge waste of money.

This our half way point from Michigan to Florida. Staff helpful and friendly. We have been coming here for the last two years. Hot breakfast from 6 to 10. Coffee in lobby at all times. Just ask for extra towels and pillows you get them with no problem. If you want a shower instead of a tub/shower you will have to ask for a King room. Shower was handicap acceptable, hand rails inside. Very large. Water was nice and hot. Bed was comfortable. Accross the street there is a restaurant called Farm to Mouth. Large portions( you might want to share if you are a small eater) We got 4 pics of cod fish and French fries. Could not finish it. Blueberry cheese cake was wonderful. Hope you stay your stay and meal.

Great location, right off 75, with two other hotels, a nice new liquor store and a very good independent restaurant and bar, Farm to Fork, all a very short, well lighted safe walk. We’ve stayed here a few times on our way to FL and Back to Michigan. Staff is excellent. Property, unfortunately, needs work. More issues each year. Looks as if they’d updated some things but room was worn and broken. Seemed clean but apparently missed the past guest’s blood pressure pill on the nightstand and, well, the pics of all the broken and worn items tell the story best. Pics attached.

It was okay, came in late, staff was rude in the morning and last they had very dirty mattress cover and the room stunk as if there was a leak or something wasn't washed. Seen a couple of bugs, fridge wasn't plugged in and wouldn't give me a few minutes grace proof of checking out with an infant after coming in at 5am.

Where do I start... ok let's start with check in... night shift was funny and outgoing.... now to the Motel. Its outdated and needs more love. Only 1 ice machine... out of service... only 1 soda machine... out of service.. now let's talk about the room.. omg.. the beds are Horrendous. Sleeping on plywood is more comfortable. . With a super hard box spring for a mattress it was miserable. The drains in the tub backed up with a 5 min shower. The toilet seat was broken and never fixed. Even when items were reported it's like a whatever attitude, All I can say is.... good luck. I won't return.

Right off interstate. KFC across the street. Room was bright, clean, not the usual musty smelling hotel, parking right in front of the room. Didn't have to drag bars all over. Very pleasant experience

People were nice but right upon going to the room I used the restroom and there was a cockroach crawling along the bathtub lining. The room has a musty dishwater smell. I can’t even imagine how many roaches are harboring there. Never will I book at Super 8 again.

Right off the highway for a quick overnight stay. Staff very nice. Not really a breakfast. More like coffee muffin, cold cereal. Room was basically clean and quite. They had a pull down room darkening shade instead of curtains. That was the best! Certainly would stay again.

Remote batteries were dead, wifi isn't configured correctly, the door handles aren't flush so I have to pick up the door to close it, my room door plate is hanging off, Taco Bell is your closest food choice, and half the outlets don't work. Besides that... AC works well and their free breakfast is decent.

Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at while traveling! The front desk lady was super sweet and helpful. Breakfast was out earlier than we expected and we were able to grab some before heading back out. Rooms were very nice. You can hear the highway traffic but being super close to the highway made sense but my fiancé was able to sleep. Definitely will be staying at more of these

Chris (the general manager) charged me for having a pet in my room when I did not. Luckily I was able to get the recurring charges stopped; however, he still charged me a pet fee for days I didn't have a pet and kept putting a "pet in room" magnet on my door when there was no pet in my room. I didn't travel or check in with a pet, nor did I have a pet with me, but my friend did bring her dog over for a few hours while I got ready on my second night in the room. I told him I'd gladly pay for one night and he said, "there are so many people who hide pets and get away with it and I'm not letting you do that". I was honest and said I'd pay for the one night but he thinks it's okay to "punish" me and charge me extra fees just because other people have gotten away with it. He then tried to use the "some housekeepers are allergic". I call BS. Otherwise they wouldn't work for a hotel that allows pets. And what about service animals...they're not allergic to them, I bet. This multi-billion dollar corporation stole $50 from a disabled vet on a fixed income. Good job, Chris...keep up the excellent work! Oh, and Jennifer. Let me tell you about Jennifer. I think she hates her job. Why work in a business that is centered around people when you hate people? I will give her credit for something though...her eye rolling/fake eyelash batting is absolutely superb!

Check in was fantastic and easy. The guy working midnights was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to fulfill a request for some ketchup for my Doordash order. The room was cozy and the bed slept amazingly great!! Upon checking out Jennifer was absolutely stellar in her quest to get me a printed receipt. She did all that she could and was top shelf!

Our stay turned out to be wonderful, thanks to Toni! If it weren’t for her, our trip could have become quite unpleasant. We had booked through a third-party site, but unfortunately, the reservation was canceled due to their mistake. When we arrived, there was no record of our booking, but Toni was incredibly patient and kind while I called the site to sort things out. In the end, I canceled the original booking and made a new one directly with Toni — the whole process took some time, but she made it go smoothly, and we were so grateful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. Breakfast offered plenty of food options, and the Costa coffee machine (plus hot water machine) was a big plus! We also enjoyed being able to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner and relax watching sports on the big-screen TV in our room. Thank you, Toni, for your exceptional help and hospitality — thumbs up! 👍

On a long road trip along 75 and need a place to sleep for a while. Found the Avid hotel in Ringgold and it got great reviews. Had never heard of them but reviews made me give it a try based on reviews. Glad I did! Super new (I asked, just under 2 years) and super clean. Right off 75 so that was perfect. Breakfast was actually great - premade Jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches, a lot of grab and go fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, etc. Awesome Costa high tech coffee dispenser. I have this one bookmarked and will be our new go to on our drives up and down to Florida.

Stayed 1 night. Clerk friendly and welcoming. The room was adequate. Bathroom super tight but very clean with great water pressure. The towels were soft enough. The AC unit needed work. Couldn’t adjust the temp. Comfortable mattress and awesome pillows. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast and as always mediocre at best but for free it’s adequate. Garbage cans full and spilling over. There were not enough chairs to accommodate all the guests. Two tables with zero chairs. People were juggling their plates while sitting on a couch. Not cool! After breakfast we were greeted by a large bug on the wall in our room. We thought it was a roach but when we showed the clerk a photo her response “oh, that’s no roach it’s a stink bug.” And then she proceeded to make excuses why it was in the room, which didn’t sit too well with us since we had paid $163 for the room. There should be no bugs especially one that is classified as venomous!

This is a pretty good place to stay and in a very safe area. However our complaint and it's a big one is that no one was available when we went to check out. Apparently the person coming in was late and the person that was there wasn't going to wait for them. So for I don't know how long the front desk was unmanned and the only person in the building as far as I know was the guy fixing breakfast. And he had no answers because we asked him! Come on Holiday inn Express, this is not good business when nobody is at your front desk at all!

Stayed for one night while traveling. I had a king room which was clean and had everything I needed. The property as a whole was also clean and well kept. Several restaurants within a 5 minute drive and a Mexican restaurant 2 minutes walk around the corner. Continental breakfast was good with the usual items and some hot options (biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage patties). Didn't interact with staff except for checking in and out but everyone was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel if needing to stay in the area.

Train wreck, if you value cleanliness and your sanity stay away. First you get hit with the displeasure of having to have any interaction with Carol. She is unorganized and could care less about customers. Some of the staff members are pleasant, but I feel sorry for them to have work with her - and the manager. The manager is in name only, and frankly not sure if he is real. They charged all of our groups cards in advance the full amount plus deposit before check in time. Since this is not the norm across any Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at, let alone an IHG hotel, pretty much none of them went through. Ms Carol called me and asked for another card, blaming everything on management. I waited on hold for about ten minutes before I hung up, card ready. Her phones were ringing "like crazy" because there were so many cards that did not go through. She called me back and threatened to cancel my room if I did not pay then. Still before check in time and while was driving. Once finally got there the staff seemed output to have to check me in at all. The ice machine was broke the entire stay. The elevator is on its last leg and pretty much everyone took the stairs out of safety concerns. The rooms smelled, all of them. There was so much moisture in the rooms the beds felt wet to the touch. Just gross. No manager the entire time, and we stayed for multiple days. They charged me illegally for a service pet. When I brought it the attention of the front desk person their response was to blame it on the manager whom was apparently just in name only. She also told me that I should have been charged $75 for each day. I told her it was a service dog and it is illegal for them to charge me. I had her call the manager on his cell phone - would not talk to me, as he said that he would take care of on Monday. He was at a doctors appointment and would not be in that day. I left him a detailed message on his voicemail. Never got back to me, charge has still never been removed. I called the hotel again once the hard charge went through and proceeded to get yelled at by Ms Carol, even when she confused me with someone else. She yelled at me and told me I was rude and hung up on me literally FIVE times. I tried, lord have mercy. She would not stop interrupting me and refused to help me. Would not let me talk at all. Horrible person. She did this to multiple people in our group. I have filed a complaint with IHG, hoping they will lose the Holiday Inn Express flag and be shut down. I have also contacted my bank to issue a charge back for fraudulent charges.

We stayed at Townplace Suites in room 106 close to lobby. The staff that we encountered were very nice. It was a very nice place for $110. There were cheaper hotels in the area so not the best price, but it was up on a hill kind of off by itself and we liked that. We saw a couple of dogs and worried that it might be loud, but we didn’t hear a thing so either we were lucky and the dogs were quiet dogs, or the walls were very sound proof. Obviously if we were traveling with a dog we wouldn’t even mention it lol. This was the first hotel we stayed at on a 10 day vacation. I didn’t take enough notes to remember everything. I’m sorry I don’t remember anything about breakfast. To me, that means it was fine. Most breakfasts are all the same anyway. I do think they had bananas at breakfast. A small thing, but at home I eat a banana everyday and this hotel was the only one (out of the 5 hotels we stayed at on this vacation) that had bananas lol. I eventually had to go to a grocery store to buy bananas. 🤷🏼♀️ We would definitely stay there again.

Location was convenient while driving through the area. Hotel is in need of some updating. Shower door had to be pried open. Instead of refilling shampoo/ conditioner/body wash they put a second set of bottles on the wall of the shower. Stains on the bedding for trundle bed. For one night it was okay. We arrived late at night. Front desk staff was welcoming.

We drove up from Florida to see the mountains for 5 days at the end of September with our 4 year old daughter and 6 month old Maltipoo. While we were in town my two granddaughters under the age of 7 joined us every evening. The pros of this hotel would be that some of the staff are exceptional, kind, and helpful. The room was beautiful, exactly enough space to have 3 girls under 7, a puppy, as well as my husband and I. The pool was clean. The grounds were neat. The cons were that the towels weren’t stocked in the pool, and we had to go downstairs and request toilet paper, bedding, and towels 2x throughout the week because housekeeping didn’t touch our room. Also, breakfast is set up one time only and its first come first serve. For a mom of a 4 year old and having two other littles with me sometimes- this was inconvenient as it is part of the perks of selecting certain hotels. If you don’t go downstairs by 7:30- you aren’t getting any waffles, coffee creamer, chocolate milk, etc. As we walked around the hotel often, the office door was open constantly. I can see the hotel has definitely “cut breakfast costs” as it only puts food out once, and saves money on housekeeping by having housekeeping touch the rooms once throughout the week. I usually tip housekeeping and food servers at hotels but was unable to do so because I never interacted with these staff. Other than that- I must say there was a gentleman whose name started with F? I believe- he worked evenings- he was always extremely helpful. Courteous. Kind. Always reloaded snacks in the snack area as the girls and I purchased snackies every evening during our strolls around the hotel. As a female with a small dog and three young girls I felt safe in this hotel, I felt safe in the pool, and I felt the service when I encountered it was courteous and kind. Perhaps in a rural area, the staffing is short handed. Hopefully this resolves before our next visit- as we would stay in the hotel again.

We stayed there for one night, and it was an awful experience. There were a lot of bugs (not just ladybugs, as they mentioned). We informed them, and they changed our room, but bugs came out again after turning on the heating system. There was also a dirty couch. We paid $150 for one night, and it was an absolutely awful experience.

My wife and I woke up with bug bites on our legs and torso. Despite me sending pictures, it seems Marriott didn't believe me. "Our General Manager personally investigated the matter and confirmed that the room was thoroughly inspected, with no evidence of bugs found". I guess my week of bite-related discomfort (had an allergic reaction) didn't really happen. Thank goodness.

The only good thing I can say about this place is Penny is wonderful at the front desk. Other than that, it’s not good. From walking through the hallways, it smelled like skunky weed everywhere. If I could post pictures, I would … I did take pictures. Filthy sink bowl underneath it was so black. It was disgusting stains everywhere in the shower, rust and dirt in the caulking. But the worst part? We found a dirty press on nail In the sheets when we pulled the cover back, hair and crumbs in the white sheets that look like they were clearly slept in and a stain of some sort of bodily fluid. We came back from a big event where we had been up dancing and drinking all night, and we were exhausted when we got back to our room as we Also had a 12 Hour Dr. the day before so we were quite tired. When we realized how filthy the bed was, we were so disgusted. We just pushed everything aside and collapsed from running around all day. The sad part is the hotel right before this was no different and we didn’t stay,. We came here and were assured that they were clean compared to where we just left. I guess nobody really cleans their hotel rooms anymore ???? We came here and were assured that they were clean compared to where we just left. I guess on the surface it was a nicer room for a basic no-frills place and I didn’t mind that because we weren’t gonna be in our hotel anyway so we didn’t need anything luxury because we were just coming for a couple of events. The next morning we were so disgusted. Also, we told them even our toilet wasn’t flushing properly, it was sluggish And as we were leaving, we asked if someone could please look at it while we were gone The young man at the desk didn’t even apologize, but he offered us a plunger That we could use, he didn’t even send someone up. I’m so grossed out by this whole weekend because of the grossness we saw in this hotel. The only good thing is it’s right off the freeway we can get hopping back on when we need to go anywhere while we’re in town . That and Like I said,Penny was a sweetheart when we First checked in. Other than that, Penny can’t help you when you’re trying to sleep in a clean bed at night so don’t stay here. We never will again.

Zero stars isn’t available so they get the required 1. This place is a dirty dump and apparently it’s the place for late night parties as well. There’s a huge gap under the door so you hear every voice from the hall and every door close. Dirty sheets. Had to ask for new ones and not even sure they are clean either. Toilet hasn’t seen a toilet brush in awhile. Stinky covers on bed. Dirty microwave with cooked on food stuck to it. Dirty refrigerator. Thought Bath tub is somewhat decent but then realized there are holes in the shower wall. dead spiders in the bathroom. I’m sincerely afraid of what will be going home in my bags. Unless you are desperate just don’t book here. I honestly would rather sleep in my car but I have a child along so dirty gross hotel I guess is safer than the car. This is a nightmare.

I really don't understand why this place even has more the. 1 star reviews. The location isn't too bad maybe that's it? Other than that, it's a dirty hotel, especially for the price about $85 a night after taxes. I've stayed in motel 6s that weren't this bad! Check in was easy, parking is ok. Come up to the room, went to shower, mold along the caulking all around the tub. After seeing that thinking ok, not horrible but still, looked under the sink, lots of dirt, and hair chunks. Went to lay down, pulled back sheets, it looks like they don't do well washing them at all. The doors in the hallway slam, constantly causing noises through the night. The AC somewhat works, and of course dirty, the floor is scuffed and damaged. Going down the stairs, completely dirty. Gave us 2 towels, wanted them to come in change sheets, they came in, put 2 towels and washcloths in, and left the room doing nothing else. DO NOT STAY HERE

After a long day of driving we needed a clean reasonably priced hotel for a quick well deserved sleep and shower. Penny was working at the front desk and I felt so welcomed. She gave us a great room, easy check in and was so sweet. I felt like I had met an old long lost friend! The rooms are clean, coffee and muffins for breakfast. Nothing fancy but super nice! I can’t say enough good things! I highly recommend it. Beds were super comfortable! Free wi fi too.

We stopped here in a road trip for some sleep before we finished the last 4 hours of our road trip. The first room we were assigned to the sheet were stripped off the beds and the sheets and comforter had dried blood on them. The shower had a pile of dirty towels in it that also had stains all over them. The room smelled musty and moldy. We went to the front desk and was given keys to another room that had trash still in the room, someone’s backpack, clothes in the room and dirt in the bed. There was also still pee in the toilet. For $80 a night I expected a little bit better than uncleaned nasty rooms. The floors also looked like they hadn’t been mopped or swept in forever. The breakfast was ok but the waffles tasted really weird and gross and the muffins were dry. The posted breakfast hours said 6 am and when we came down they told us no you can’t eat till 7 even though the food was all set up and out. Do not recommend this motel.

The room was quiet, and staff was extremely polite and helpful. The only reason for 3 stars was the room was quite dirty. Hair left all over the bathroom, wet countertops and the floor was extremely discolored. Also, house keeping woke us up both days at 8am, asking if we wanted the room cleaned. Seemed early to me, especially when checkout isn’t until 11am. Overall, not bad. The location is pretty great but we will probably stay else where.
