A pretty "basic" Hampton - we've stayed in a lot of their properties. Staff was friendly & helpful. Room not as clean as we hope for - bed was a hammock - pretty typical. Indoor pool if you have kids. Breakfast was basic and might get you by for a couple of hours. We'll get another Hilton property next time we're in the area.

Sherry, the assistant general manager, is a wonderful representative for the Hampton Inn in Ringgold. Her sweet southern hospitality made me feel important. You can tell she loves her job and she is definitely a people person! The room was excellent, no complaints at all. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was amazing. The shower and bathroom faucet was hot on demand, which I loved. No waiting for the water to heat up. Fast check-in for this weary traveler. Late check-out at noon is also a plus. All in all, I give this Hampton Inn five stars. I give Sherry six stars! =)

Excellent hotel near to the hwy. Beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. Free hot breakfast and lovely well decorated rooms. Great views of forest on back side of hotel. Has a laundry room. Within walking distance to Farm to Fork restaurant.

We read the reviews prior to booking and thought this would be a lovely place to stop driving for the night and have a place to sleep. However, after an easy check in process, I proceed to my room; when I stepped off the elevator, my sons and I saw a cockroach the size of a half dollar. I walked back down to the front desk to get a refund and was told this was unable to happen at the moment and someone would contact me. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE TAKING SOME GUESTS HOME WITH YOU. Also, was not asked at check in if we would be okay with a pet friendly room- my husband went to our room to see if he saw cockroaches and our room smelt like wet dog.

I'm not going to lie or exaggerate...this was quite possibly the worst hotel stay we have ever had. And the manager, Mike Ward, is a complete joke. Room was FILTHY, with so many issues it would take pages to just list them all. Pet pee smell and stains all down hall (2nd floor). Fire alarm at 4am. Because the kitchen person burnt the morning bacon. Breakfast: no juice, no milk, the waffle mix was out, and two cereals were out. Check out time? Both elevators are not working. Had to carry luggage for me 80 year old parents in law down the stairs. AND Mike Ward, the hotel manager? He left on a lunch break while this was happening. Myself and two other people trying to check out expressed our strong disappointment to Jay, the front desk kid. Both of your elevators are down, people are coming down to check out carrying large luggage, and the manager just takes off? The list goes on...I called the hotel to tell the manager (again, good 'ol Mike Ward), I called his boss (Monica)...and never heard back from either. Please do yourself a favor and just keep driving down the interstate to another location.

The hotel itself was fantastic. The rooms were very clean. The staff was helpful and very kind. Theses lady's are truly very sweet on all shifts. With that said the way my card was charged I would not recommend staying at theses hotels. It took $549 out of my account a day after I left. They claim it will be returned at some random time, of their choosing in up to 15 days. I'm out double the stay amount until I'm reimbursed.

Though Tru is smaller than what some would be accustomed to, it makes up for in cleanliness, friendliness, and style. I stayed here for a work trip for a few days & I liked the decor, spacious and modern lobby, clean pool, and ample parking. The room is small, but I appreciated the efficient use of space & mod digs. It’s cute and modern, which is suitable for me! I also appreciated the friendly and welcoming staff, which is a breath of fresh air when you’re staying somewhere you haven’t been before. Thanks for the hospitality!

A great find on our road trip from Florida to the Midwest. Very clean. Friendly front desk staff. Free breakfast. It is right next to the highway. I recommend requesting an odd numbered room so you face the parking lot instead of the highway to help with the noise.

Rooms were clean and new but the highway noise was extremely loud and intense. Also there must be a governor on the air condition because no matter how low I turned it the room to not get very cold. So ended up sleeping in a loud hot room. I would not stay here again.

This is a dead basic hotel with small rooms. The decorating of the room was loud and annoying. The room did not have a coffee pot. Breakfast was provided, nothing better than any other hotel chain. I will stay elsewhere for the $150 dollars a night.

I checked in for the night to sleep before continuing a 16 hr drive . It was my 2 sons and myself, checking out the next morning. Google listed the room price at $124, when I checked in I was told it was $188.65, then in the morning the receipt under the door said it was $178.65. Upon arriving in the room, it was found to be clean, however; the blankets, sheets and pillows had been laundered in something containing Lavender, which I am allergic to. I immediately had to use my inhaler and then had to sleep on the bench in the room with a rolled up beach towel from home as my pillow and another beach towel as my blanket because I was unable to sleep on.or use the Lavender bedding and breathe. I mentioned it to the lady as we were checking out and she apologized, but nothing else was offered. """If you are allergic to Lavender, stay away!l I did email the hotel as well but haven't received any response.

This was my first and last time at a Holiday Inn Express. When making the reservation I searched for a hotel with pool and hot tub and the fact that the pool was closed for renovation was not ever mentioned during the reservation process. Had I known there was no pool I would have never stayed there. I believe this to be false advertising as everywhere that I looked it was indicated that there was a pool. The method of turning the shower on is something I have never seen and is not clearly evident and having instructions posted would help.

N I be hotel. Under renovation. However I did get a little weirded out when the older gentleman at the front desk wouldn’t make me a new key cause mine stopped working he said he had to use the real key or something like that. But he went up with me to my room. Stick an actual key in my door but didn’t turn it at all then stuck the key card (his) into the door and tried like 3 times and it finally unlocked. Idk why he couldn’t just make me a new key.

Clean rooms and free breakfast was great. If you want a quiet room do not get a 1st floor room get another one probably on a higher floor since you'll hear everyone and everything.

This hotel does not honor rewards members earned upgrades. I would recommend business travelers chose another IHG location. They sure will charge top rate for a room. FYI, hotel is remodeling pool and exercise rooms. Normally would not be a big deal. My family traveled with me on this trip. I like to take kids to pool after I get off from work.ooks like we we have booked a room for rest of the week at the Calhoun IHG.

The front desk gentleman Jack was so very nice, informative and kind. Our room was Very nice, comfortable bed, quiet for the most part. In the middle of the night could hear dog barking. Breakfast bar was fantastic! VERY clean, well stocked with various selections of food. Comfortable seating. At checkout it was handled very speedy and very friendly. We would highly recommend this place to stay!

This room is a definite 5 star experience. Huge rooms. 2 beds with crisp white linens that are super comfy. Huge bathrooms. Luxury stay for sure! Not to mention the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and polite! When I got to my room half the power didn't work. He immediately responded to the issue. It was just the circuit breaker had tripped and he resolved it expediently. Never would have even known this place was here but for work. Keep this place in mind for business and pleasure.

What a wonderful way to rest on our trip! Showers were beautiful and had great pressure on water. We came on late but the front desk was so kind and speedy. The room was very spacious and clean, smelling. I loved the look of the bathroom barn door but with little ones not safe. Took a refreshing shower with the great bath accessories provided. Bedding and bed were incredibly clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast items were delicious and fresh. and abundant. The food staff was busy cleaning up, replenishing food, and sweetly helping the guests with everything. I did not, however, see them clean up tables after guests cleared.

Rooms are spacious clean and stocked well. The mini fridge only worked for 2 hours at a time. Our air conditioning froze up every evening and even when we complained the maintenance man came sprayed almost a whole can of cleaner in it which we breathed in for the next 2 days but it was never fixed. We did our laundry there the washer was oversized and worked really well but the dryer never dried the load of clothes after spending $9 just to dry them. Breakfast was really good with wide selection. The crew members in the lobby were awesome. The housekeeping crew were good but hard to communicate bc of most not being able to speak English.

Oh my goodness! This was possibly the nicest room we’ve ever stayed in! We searched for trailer parking with our camper. Beautifully decorated and designed. AC worked GREAT! Front desk staff was pleasant. We did have a King room that happened to be right by the ice machine 😒but still a fantastic room!

The room was clean, and the staff were amazing. Here's the issue, $107 for 1 night is literally highway robbery. The breakfast offerings were beyond dismal for that prince's ransom we paid for sleeping in a smoking room for 5 hours.

When you try a new place, you never know what you will walk into.. Well, I can say from the minute we walked in the door, we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman, Mr.Dewayne. I don't know if he was the manager, but he could have been. Quick check-in, very easy. The room was very clean and updated. The grounds we nothing fancy but clean as well..Quiet area and yes, I will visit again..Thanks to your crew for doing such a great job...

I was worried about going back to this place after reading some of the recent reviews, but to me it seems the same as it always was - no frills, nothing fancy, but perfectly acceptable for the price. My room was clean, everything was functional, and the neighbors/parking lot were no louder than any other basic hotel on a Friday night. The employees are always very kind to me as well.

First of all, room was inaccessible due to door cards. Ours and women next door had to struggle to get in. Toilet seat was disconnected from base of toilet. Old Urine all around the base of toilet. Bed was great, tv remote didn’t work at all. Noisy street right in front very early in am. Dry breakfast but plentiful. Eggs weren’t hard boiled, they WERE RAW. Discovered this in the front seat of my car anxious for a quick snack 😩.

This was our last option on a long drive and we just needed a place to sleep. The sheets appeared to be clean, but the bathroom didn't. Furniture was old and in bad shape. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and friendly which was appreciated.

We were on a road trip and the entire market was sold out except for this hotel and now I know why. There was urine all over the toilet seat and floor, hair in the bathtub, and the floor was disgusting. Clearly had not been cleaned and the room was not maintained at all. There were no other accommodations available or we would have left immediately. It also backs up to a cemetary and has exterior entrances so the foot traffic is very loud. I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. Highway robbery to be charged $174 a night for such deplorable conditions.

Stayed there 4 nights while my truck was getting repaired at Peterbilt. The rooms were what you would expect for a budget hotel. The biggest concern I had was the maid service barged in without even knocking or anything.. Then they did it again the next day. Thankfully I had the privacy latch locked the 2nd time or they would of came on in without knocking like they did the first time. Coming into a room without even knocking or anything is totally unacceptable!! ***MAKE SURE YOU USE THE PRIVACY LATCH***

The hallway smelled like smoke especially toward evening but the smell never made in our room. Breakfast was prepackaged muffins and juice and coffee. The staff is top notch and rooms are clean. The location seems decent too. Overall it was a great stay!

Affordable, clean, and safe area. We always stop here when we drive up from FL to IL. The woman at the front desk is very helpful and provides excellent service. She stayed late until midnight so we could check in since we were driving through storms and arrived late.

Stayed here while driving though on a long trip. Pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were for the affordable price. Our room was very nice and updated, also a big tv with HBO. Bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was really bad, but the other pros made up for it.

I work for a carpet cleaning service and they had us there today to clean all the carpet in their halls on both floors. They were very attentive to what we were doing and were cleaning their rooms while we were there. Each room looked spotless and was well sanitized. I can't speak much for service but if their service is half as nice as the owners and staff then it's easily five stars or more!
