Tru by Hilton Ringgold is a great stop for travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. The rooms are modern, simple, and very clean, with everything you need for a short stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. The lobby area is inviting, with games and a space to relax or get some work done. Breakfast was fresh and had good variety, especially for the price range. It’s located right off the highway, making it perfect for road trips. Overall, it’s a solid and dependable option that delivers good value.

Rooms were great, everything was clean. Nice modern rooms. The bathrooms had a sweet lemon soap - a VERY pleasant break from the linen/ocean scented soaps that a lot of places use. Breakfast was a little disappointing, they only had eggs and cheap heartburn sausage for hot food. Instead of sealed pre-packed cups, their yogurt comes from a dispensing machine that everyone and their children have touched - not something I would eat from.

We sold our house in Rock Spring GA and needed a place to stay until closing so we chose Tru in Ringgold. We have had a very pleasant stay. Kenya who was the receptionist during the day was excellent. She helped me with my booking and she was pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms leave something to be desired. They could improve it by 50%. Thus my 4 star review. Everything else was great. Would stay here again.

Room was clean, plenty of towels, squeeze bottles for hand soap & lotion by the sink as well as squeeze bottles of body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the shower. No more praying a tiny hotel bottle of shampoo will wash 1 person's head. The breakfast bar has kind of gone downhill though. There used to be a fridge that contained yogurts, fruit cups, juices, etc... that has been replaced buy a fruit drink dispenser (drinks tasted watered down) & a yogurt dispenser that wasn't really yogurt. The bacon has been replaced with little sausage patties but the cheese omelet was pretty tasty. They still have the coffee & tea bar thank goodness.

This hotel is the perfect halfway point between my home and my family, so I stay here frequently. I also stay here because it is one of my favorite hotels. (I travel for work and go to a lot of hotels.) The staff is always friendly, rooms clean, everything in working order. The breakfasts are amazing (and they have a new yogurt machine!) There are plenty of outlets in the lobby to get work done, and a game station with plenty of games for kids. A nice little gym and pool too. Highly recommend this Tru if you’re ever in the area.

After traveling on the road from Charleston to Tennessee, getting to the hotel to relax was the most important thing on my next move! The receptionist, Mikey, was a ray of sunshine! He was funny, patient and very helpful with providing the best room experience. The first room assigned to me the key did not work, the second time, after re-programming the key, still did not work so he moved me to a bigger and better room same cost! Thank you so much for your natural ability to make every persons hotel experience the best!

I’ll tell you needing a room real fast bringing in some people from out of town to help with a charity event at the front desk brie. She was out outstanding. She not only helped the whole experience go by in like five minutes. Bam got us signed in got the room. Taken care of. My friend was able to stay. I just wanna say huge shout out to this hotel. I will definitely end up using and staying here again thank you for making this tremendously convenient

We stayed here for one night and checked in after 8pm. Room was okay but dusty. We noticed the toilet wasn’t flushing completely, but thought it was a low water toilet. When we woke up in the morning, the toilet would not flush at all. I called the front desk before 7 am and they said there was no maintenance until 10 am and that there were no other rooms available, and there wasn’t anything they could do. So we had to use the toilet in the lobby, even though we were staying on the 3rd floor. I called the front desk again and a very nice woman came up with a plunger, but she was unable to fully fix the toilet. She said she would refund the points for our stay. Unfortunately we did not receive a full refund even though we stayed in a room without a working toilet.

Hotel was clean and the service plus breakfast was 5 star. My only complaint and it's minor is that the key reader on our room was broken. They moved us to another room and one of the keys quit working after about the 3 time using it. Otherwise, this Hampton is a clean, decent hotel though a bit dated. I'd stay again.

We live close by and stayed because of anticipated bad weather. We went in and prepaid the day before our stay. Michael greeted us and was cordial and very friendly. The room itself was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Thus will be our go to place the next time we need a place to stay during expected bad weather and when my family comes to visit we will definitely see that they stay at this location. All in all we are very pleased with our visit.

Right off the highway for a quick overnight stay. Staff very nice. Not really a breakfast. More like coffee muffin, cold cereal. Room was basically clean and quite. They had a pull down room darkening shade instead of curtains. That was the best! Certainly would stay again.

Booked a double deluxe Queen room, travelled for 12 hours to get to the hotel only to be told that the only remaining room was a single bed king. Asked the guy at the front desk how could they still be listing rooms they currently don’t have, made some excuse that their systems didn’t update. Asked the front desk worker if I’m then going to be charged for the cancellation even tho they don’t have the room which was the whole reason I choose to stay there, said no, I should not be charged. A few hours later I get an email notification that the room has been cancelled but they were charging me over $170. I would not recommend staying here unless it’s your literally only option and even then you’re better going down I-75 a bit to a rest area. I can not believe I was still charged after they falsely advertised having a room (two beds) that we wanted and needed and doing the ole switch-a-roo once we got there.

I was pleased with the appearance and cleanliness of the room aside from the fact that it could have used a good mopping and the shower head needs to be cleaned because it's a little mildewy. Could not connect to Wi-Fi unless I was within 10 ft of the office. Definitely need to add some extenders or remove Wi-Fi from the advertisement. Ice machine needs servicing. Aside from that; very happy with the staff and amenities. I live in Ringgold and may just rent this again just to get a break away from the rv. Very satisfied. 👍🙂👍

Can't help but laugh at the Karen's whining about the free breakfast. It's Super 8 wtf do you expect? Anyway! This place was great. No complaints. Staff is great, room was very clean and the A/C was ice cold. Even the mattress was nice & firm. And for the truckers, there's truck parking in the gravel lot behind pizza hut which is next door. There's also a Taco Bell and a waffle house.

Terrible experience . At night couldn’t sleep too much noises and cars . The breakfast is fake you get moldy cakes and that’s it. Then police coming knocking at my door asking me bunch of questions about my car eventually I called the police to complain about them harassing me and they said a lot of of crimes were committed in this hotel and they were suspecting me simply for staying there . A lesson I learned from that incident it doesn’t worth saving 40$ to be in a better place

We arrived to find portable air conditioners in the lobby, and it got worse. There was a strong musty smell in the room, signs of mold, and the bedding felt damp, though it was clean. We left promptly for dinner and turned up the air conditioner in the room in hopes of drying the bedding. It helped a little, but this is the most uninhabitable place I have ever been.

I'm not going to lie. Very relaxed feel to this hotel. It is definitely updated for the most part. There could be more work done. You can tell it's a well used hotel by the scars on the doors and the smells in the hallways. Smells like an old roadway inn. I've I stayed at a lot of Holiday inn expresses and this is bottom of the barrel for the price you pay. It's definitely clean and comfortable but I just feel that it should be maybe $80. I think attention to detail could benefit this place. Service animal friendly.

$75 non refundable pet fee on top of the overly priced room. Had to ask the front desk for a new room because the smell in my first room was putrid. I was met with pretty bad customer service upon my request and our second room was no better. Currently sitting in a very humid, out of date, dirty room with gnats flying around that we paid too much money for. This is definitely bottom of the barrel. Would NOT recommend.

The hotel is older, but its still in decent condition. The pool is very exposed as a wall of windows between the lobby and pool area offers no visual barrier. The room I got had a lingering cigarette smell. The bathroom didn't have any fan/vent so it gets humid really quickly and smells really linger for a while. The AC unit was older, so controls were on it rather than on the wall. Though it rattled a lot when in use. Oh, and the elevator rattles. Not hauned.

Rooms do little to manage the outdoor humidity, so beds felt damp. Room is fine, but the bathroom shows the age of the rooms: rust along the floorboards, stains and mildew spots. Breakfast was the same quality as any Holiday Inn Express.

This is my first experience with Avid Hotel. Excellent experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you put your head on the pillow. Very Clean, comfortable bed/GREAT pillows and conveniently located right off I-75 between Dalton and Chattanooga. The GM Chris and his team make you feel right at home!

Very nice hotel. It's modern, with a touch of 90's. The room was clean, and definitely loving the dove products in the bathroom. Currently writing this review from the hotel. I was just so impressed I had to go ahead and write one.

I've been reserving a room here for several years on my trips to and from Arkansas and NC, due to rotating care of my mother shared by my siblings. Because I need a pet friendly hotel always, I have had great experiences at this Avid. However, this time I don't think the floor had been swept in a while, as my socks picked up grit and small rocks in various places in the room. I did not want to mention it or borrow a broom, because the staff there go out of their way to take care of us!!! I know I should have said something before I left, but, there was an incident with a total stranger as I was looking for the cleaning staff to ask them a question. I found them, but, they were in deep conversation with this stranger in one of the rooms, with the door wide open, so, I just smiled at them, and I thought I'd ask my question at the front desk, and walked on. The stranger, who was loudly talking to them, leaned his head out the door as I walked by and shouted, "Nosey" towards me and half way followed me out the door, looking to see my reaction!!! Later, I did tell those ladies that I didn't know who he was, but, what he said was rude and uncalled for. The one who didn't understand English just laughed out loud...I just left. I have no idea what the other lady told her. Someone really overdid it with Clorox on the linens, but, at least I knew they were clean, but, the smell was very strong!!! The other amenities, service, and staff made up for the negatives I experienced. Those negatives do not mean I won't return, to give them another chance. I give Ginger at the front desk and A+++ !!!!

This is by far one of the worst experiences ever! We have an emotional support dog. They charged us 50$ per night which is illegal. The windows have see thru blinds that let the streetlight in. We didn’t have to use the room lights. The traffic from the interstate was very loud.. no insulation in the hotel, and finally the fridge was broken and said they’d fix it the next day… they did not… charging 50$ for dog and had no dog park but just a muddy area in front of checkin… my husband’s father passed away and this is not the added stress we needed. Shameful service… Update… the mgr called me back today. He was very argumentative and a smartelick. A total waste of my time! This chain is very “low class” check your card because they will overcharge you! Chris was the “manager’s “ name. Never using this hotel again! If you have an emotional support dog, they will charge you 50$ a night. They do not honor the federal mandate!! Top ten worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at!!

The issue here was staff education. We booked sn ADA roll-in shower room at 12:30 AM. We carried our stuff to the room exhausted after leaving south Florida in the early morning and fighting road construction and Atlanta traffic. Room was not ADA. The commode was low profile with zero grab bars, shower was a walk in with a narrow sliding glass door 26 inch wide entrance and a big lip. No room on either side of bed for my my manual or electrical wheelchair, so I had to crawl over the end of the bed. There was not nearly enough electrical outlets either for charging or CPAP.

We booked on our way to Florida and enjoyed it so much, we booked for our way back home! We were pleasantly surprised by the pull out bed under the couch in the double queen suite which was perfect for our two kids! The rooms were clean and roomy! The fire pit is such a great touch to relax after a long drive! Danielle was absolutely so sweet and accomodating when we found the pool temperature was way too hot. The moment we notified her she was on the ball and went to adjust it. She exceeded our expectations as far as great service goes both times! Will definitely return here when we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was really busy and options were limited. They were working hard to replenish items as they ran out. The room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool with kids! Things needed to be cleaned better. Glass in the room needed cleaning, edges and corners of room, hallways, elevators needed cleaned. The pool has some trash and things that weren't cleaned over 2 days and there weren't towels stocked. Our bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working and the AC blew directly on to the bed with no way to direct the fan upwards which was uncomfortable. Overall we liked it but a couple things could be improved!

Arrived at Spring Hill suites in Ringgold Ga, sheet had lipstick on it, we had one roll of toilet paper, not even half a roll, no extra roll. I did ask for an extra roll, and clean sheets, we received a roll of toilet paper, no clean sheets. I decided to share the other bed. While looking around the room, it appeared someone had eaten a cookie, and dropped part of it on the floor. We stay here every year due to cleanliness, and location. This year we will be finding a new Hotel on our trip.

Booked this because of two beds and a couch. Wasn't expecting such a big room and the couch to have a trundle bed underneath!!! The closet was huge. Six people could probably stand inside. If you have a crew of 6 (we had 3), this would be a great deal. Breakfast was a good typical hotel breakfast. They even had gluten free bread.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. The room layout was a little strange to me. I'm not a fan of translucent doors to the bathroom. If someone has to get up at night, the light enters the rest of the room. There were 3 big negatives: there was no hot water all at, no Internet access & the mini fridge didn't work. Because of these, I will not return to this hotel.

After a long day of driving we needed a clean reasonably priced hotel for a quick well deserved sleep and shower. Penny was working at the front desk and I felt so welcomed. She gave us a great room, easy check in and was so sweet. I felt like I had met an old long lost friend! The rooms are clean, coffee and muffins for breakfast. Nothing fancy but super nice! I can’t say enough good things! I highly recommend it. Beds were super comfortable! Free wi fi too.

The room was quiet, and staff was extremely polite and helpful. The only reason for 3 stars was the room was quite dirty. Hair left all over the bathroom, wet countertops and the floor was extremely discolored. Also, house keeping woke us up both days at 8am, asking if we wanted the room cleaned. Seemed early to me, especially when checkout isn’t until 11am. Overall, not bad. The location is pretty great but we will probably stay else where.

Dude up front from Jamaica is so very friendly. Very accommodating and polite. Keep him! Off the highway close to multiple food choices. Gas. Park at ur door. Laundry on the breeze way but it’s $4 to wash $4 to dry. No tub just shower in the room I was. Didn’t take advantage of hot breakfast. Beds are comfy good pillows. Quiet. Low volume area. Well lit and affordable
