only Miss Leng was helpful. pool not working, room not as expected. breakfast no good. the other staff members not welcoming nature. keep taking smoke breaks and hang out in front of the hotel The first bed was making noise all night. A/C was louder and disturbing. Checked out day early.

This hotel was terrible for the $180.00 we paid. There were scratching noises coming from the walls, the sink was leaking, the walls were visibly dirty. The breakfast was anything but good. If I could give it 0 stars I would. When we arrived we had to wait 15 minute for the front desk agent because the digital key did not work. After driving for hours I would have hoped for better from a Hilton. Esp as a honors member. Stay some place else!

We have family in Ringgold and have been staying here since it opened in the early 2000s. It used to be top notch, but has gone through several changes of ownership, and it has steadily gone downhill. Seems like nothing has been revamped in twenty years, and not quite clean. We killed several lady bugs in the bathroom. On this stay in room 200, the television did not work, the appliances ran with constant noise, and the doors were warped and hard to open and close. Service has also deteriorated. The breakfast bar was only so-so, with cold oatmeal for example. Finally, the desk clerk told my wife an entirely inappropriate story at check, out while I took our bags out to the car. This will be our last stay at this location, and it makes me dubious about the Hampton Inn chain in general if they maintain a location getting the other recent bad reviews I read on here.

I’ve stayed at several Hampton Inns. This one was fine, but the check-in process was disorganized and frustrating. Im going to chalk this up as the person at the front desk was probably having a bad day? I booked two rooms - both transactions were clearly successful - but the clerk at the desk insisted one of the charges didn’t go through. She went ahead and charged me again and I ended up getting billed for an extra room. I was able to resolve it, but would rather not have had to go through that process. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, but the rooms only had two towels & washcloths and we had to request the extra linens be brought up. When we booked ahead, we told the hotel how many people would be in each room. Perhaps this is being nit-picky, but these aren’t problems I generally run into at other Hampton or Hilton hotels. I also had problems with all my keys. I had to have them re-keyed within a couple hours of checking in. Again, not a huge deal, but another annoyance I’d rather not have to deal with, especially when only staying for one night. They For the price they charge at a non-touristy location just off the freeway, I don’t think that asking for a little more attention to detail is a tall order.

This is the most disappointing and disgusting hotel in the Hilton line up. The rooms are dirty. We had to change from one room that had obvious stains on the bed, fecal matter smeared on the back end of the toilet to another room that had dried up food in the corner. At least I hope it was food! The bathtub doesn't drain, the floors are gross to walk on, it's out dated, the curtains are stained and extremely dirty, no soap in the soap dispensers, one of the lights in the room doesn't work. There is an odd smell throughout the halls, the "security" door that goes from the parking lot directly to the elevators doesn't work anyone can walk in. You can hear every footstep that is taken by the person above you. The breakfast is cold and no fresh items offered. We are on our 3rd set of keys! Everytime we leave for the day we come back to dead room keys. Thankfully we are here visiting family so our actual time in this hotel is minimal. We use it only for sleep. However, how can you sleep when it's so freaking noisy! Everytime you move the bed creaks. The constant running of kids in the hallway and above you!! It's also very over priced for what this hotel offers. The only bright side to our stay was the late night front desk girl Andrianna. She was very polite and accommodating. As we were eating breakfast multiple people came to the front desk to complain about their room. So give it up Hampton Inn of Ringgold! Shut it down and start over!!!

We were greeted by a smiling desk clerk and check-in was very quick and easy. The overall atmosphere was welcoming. The room was fresh and clean, beds comfortable. The hot breakfast was very good and plenty of items to choose from including hit scrambled eggs & sausage, tasty fresh made pancakes, cereals, milk, juices, hot coffee and more. I would highly recommend Tru by Hilton to all of my friends and family. Also very affordable.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. It started off as a great stay until we left and checked our bank account. I visited here with my family while we were traveling to florida. I stayed in a room with my husband and our 7 month old son. We literally checked in, went to sleep and then checked out. Neither of us smoke or do any drugs. After checkout we received a bill for $250 for a “smoking in the room” charge. Id love to know how this is possible considering we don’t smoke and only stayed here to sleep. I know damn well my 7 month old wasn’t smoking while we were asleep. My husband has called this hotel multiple times to speak with their manager and the manager will not return any calls. Very disappointing considering we leave every place cleaner than we found it. We would have stayed here again on our way back but definitely not now. Very shady hotel! Stay far far away.

I would not stay here if you have a pet. They charge 75.00 per night for a pet. That is almost as much as the room. Stay away from this hotel if you have a pet. Totally ridiculous had we known this we would have stayed at the Hampton Inn or a hell of a lot nicer hotel for 200.00 a night after you add in the pet fee. Buyer be aware!!!!!

Great hotel right off the interstate. Modern design with laminated floors in the rooms. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. No more curtains, our room had roll down blackout shades with a desk and small refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a real shower in it. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

I was disappointed with my stay. The check-in process and location were fine. The cleanliness of the room was disturbing. There was trash still in my garbage can. The desk in the room was greasy and dirty. I had to clean it off. The floor was filthy. Full of dirt, hair, and an accumulation of dust and dander. It's obvious that the floors are not cleaned on a regular basis. I had to keep my socks and shoes on. Whoever was responsible for cleaning up my room needs to be re trained. I would not be inclined to stay at that location in Ringgold GA again.

Booked this while traveling through GA. Location was fine, parking fine. Once entering the lobby, whew the overwhelming smell was horrible. I asked the desk lady what the smell was? Her surly reply was I don't smell anything I must be used to it.....! Once in the elevator it was not there, not on the 2nd floor nor in our room. If it had permeated into those areas we would have left. The place was clean, the room was fine. It had a small bathroom but a Fantastic shower & water pressure. The next morning checking out at 9:30 no coffee in the breakfast room & no offer to make any. The odor was still in there. I asked this lady did she know what the odor was. Her answer, nicer than the night lady's was the same. I asked could it be the indoor pool you exit to through the breakfast room? She stated she would tell "them." She did offer to go into a backroom to see if they had coffee made. I thanked her but said it was OK, we'd go buy some. Maybe they have a water trap that needed to be cleaned or cloroxed & forgotten. I don't know but the smell was awful. We didn't leave because the upstairs was not bad. Except for the lobby area & coffee the room was good.

Great hotel right off the highway. Room was spacious for our family of 5 with a comfortable 5th sleeper. Large bathroom and very clean. Our check in was so easy as they sent us a mobile key so we just went right to the room. The hotel pool was heated and great spot for the kids to burn off some energy. There’s a restaurant that shares a parking lot with the hotel (Farm to Fork) So convenient. Breakfast was out at 6:30 am and had everything we needed.

Nice, new, and modern hotel located just off the interstate south of Chattanooga. Rooms are bright and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is way above average. There is a large and very good restaurant located just across the street from the hotel, so no need to drive anywhere for meals.

The king bed suite we stayed in was immaculate and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Trundle bed built into the sofa was a hit with our 10 year old. Breakfast that was provided had a great selection of items. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful. When my husband went downstairs to buy a toothbrush kit because he forgot to pack toothpaste the attendant told him that if all he needed was toothpaste not to worry and he gave him some for free. Desk area in suite was comfortable and a great area to work during my stay. Overall a great experience. I definitely would stay here again when passing through.

Our family's one-night stay at this hotel during our road trip was a good experience. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with good customer service, made us feel right at home. The room was spacious. After checking in we found that room had tissue papers inserted in privacy glass. We informed it to the receptionist and she immidiatly moved us to another room ensured that the room was good. Called us after 15 minutes to check if things are fine. The receptionist did everything to make it right. House keeping can be improved to avoid such issues. Hotel had a indoor pool and fitness center. We did not use the indoor pool and the fitness center. Hotel had a delicious breakfast spread. With its convenient location and exceptional hospitality, this hotel is excellant choice for a business or family stay or a road trip night stop.

This seemed like a fairly new hotel. I was very pleased with our stay. Wendy made check-in very easy. Cierra assisted me with checkout and an additional purchase. All staff were very nice. All areas were well kept, clean, and we felt safe. Breakfast wasn't anything fancy but was good with many grab and go options. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This is a new hotel and everything is very clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The workout room was great and had just what one would need to get in a good workout. We did not eat breakfast; however, there were plenty of options and workers were steadily making sure items were replenished when we got juice. I am terrible at remembering names, but the lady who ran the front desk was awesome! She went above and beyond to answer any questions and seemed to enjoy her job. We can't wait for our next visit.

Don't stay here if it's cold outside!! The heating units in the rooms are energy efficient and only operate if there is a person present in the room! When I checked in, my room was 49°... 49! I went to dinner and when I returned it had only heated up to 53. I went to the front desk and told them the unit wasn't working correctly. They moved me to a room across the hall - so i go to that one and it's 49° as well! So once again i go BACK to the front desk, and that's when I get informed they only operate correctly when a person is present in the room. Gee, thanks!!! Been in my original room for over an hour now and its only up to 60. Can't wait to be shivering when I wake up in the morning!

It was an alright "Avid" hotel. Not much of a "Wow" factor. All new hotels have its quirks. Elevator wouldn't close. This be a good review for this new hotel. Already need toothpaste. Breakfast is pretty weak for a very good hotel. How about more fresh food.

This hotel is barely basic. The front desk person was very nice. However the room had a funky smell to it and the bathroom is extremely small I don’t think i have ever seen one so small. And the bed is very uncomfortable as the mattress feels like it is just worn out.. however the room looked to be clean. There is construction going on right next to the Motel so don’t count on sleeping in past sunrise.. And the breakfast is just continental. Which is ok if you want a breakfast bar and coffee or juice.. I really Feel this hotel needs remodeling.

Great location is why the 5 stars. Front desk service lady was nice. The room was spacious , but was out dated . It felt like an old building. The ice machine was broke and the tv had terrible colors and lines through the screen. I ask for a late check out due to waiting on my parts to be delivered and was told by the front desk that I could stay in my room until 12. Then at 11:05 the phone in the room rang and it was the lady from the front desk telling me that the house keeper told me I had to be out in 10 minutes. I ask the housekeeper about it and she denied saying it . So I am not sure who was lying, but someone was . Over all.. it was the cheapest off this exit and now I know why.

Stayed for the night during a road trip and found it to be a convenient location— close to i75, restaurants close by (the continental breakfast was a little lacking but has the essentials like coffee, tea and cereal) My boyfriend, my puppy and I slept like a log, the shower was great (the waters softer then most hotels I’ve stayed at)

Rude, dishonest, rundown facility. Door locks don't work half the time. Stayed for an extended period of time and was overcharged about $1800, which I got excuses and a run around tactic from them about every time I inquired about it. Go somewhere else. If not, watch your money like a hawk. Not the cleanest place either. If you stay more than a week they make you change rooms.

I'm a mom and was traveling with my teenage daughter on a little spontaneous spring break trip. Upon investigating hotels in Chattanooga and the surrounding areas I finally stumbled upon this location and the reviews all mentioned being recently remodeled and above all else I didn't see anyone complaining about safety and/or BUGS! We decided to give this hotel a chance and let me say it didn't disappoint. I didn't see not ONE bug the entire stay! The rooms were very clean and the bed and pillows were actually really comfortable and nice! The beds even had bed bug protectors! It's not luxurious by any means but if you're looking for something affordable and clean, this location will be just fine! Was never concerned about safety at all either! It's about a 15-20 minute drive from Chattanooga and theres some decent antique stores close by! Most restaurants are about 5-7 minutes away as well and there is def a little gas station very nearby! (You technically could walk there but driving would be best I'd imagine.)

For the price you won’t find better in this area. Checked in late and front desk lady was so sweet. Floors were laminate so no nasty carpet. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Coffee, juice and pastries for breakfast. Been on the road all week and found some nasty motels. Would stay here again.

We last minute booked a stay here when driving through and were happily surprised with how nice the rooms were, not just for the price but overall. Our room seemed like it was recently remodeled and everything was clean and orderly. It was honestly nicer than a lot of Hampton, embassy suites, etc. that I’ve stayed in and for under $80 total, it was great. Would recommend.

The room smelled like cigarettes so bad I couldn't breath. The sheets were dirty had hair on them. Called the front desk and the lady was rude about it, she acted liked they were clean. This is a run down smelly hotel even the hall ways had a funky smell. I think they have there family and friends leaving good reviews, because there was nothing good about this hotel. NASTY!!!!

Why did I give a 2 out of 5 overall? These were very nice accommodating people and the rooms were clean and nice. HOWEVER! The odors were so overwhelming they woke me from a dead sleep. The first room were given 124 had a strong janitorial cleaning products smell! You could chew on the fumes. They didn’t seem even remotely surprised when I came to the desk. They kindly moved us to another room asap. It was much better, but at about midnight I was awoken by the overwhelming smell of curry. I got up to take my dogs out since I was awake, when I opened the door to the hall it hit me in the face. I mentioned at the desk on my way out it was so strong it woke me so omg, they took a can of febreeze (toxic and synthetic with health concerns) and sprayed the $hit out of the halls which now lingered into our room as well. It was as though we were staying in a restaurant. I think not using fragrant products is important in this business. Again, they were super nice and accomplished but didn't understand all these super strong odors.
