Pleasantly surprised with this location. Tru in Ringgold is right off the highway and the hotel itself was great. Feels brand new, lobby and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Clean nice sized bathroom and great shower. I am a loyal Hilton brand hotel stayer and I highly recommend this location. Will absolutely stay again when in the area.

Tru by Hilton Ringgold is a great stop for travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. The rooms are modern, simple, and very clean, with everything you need for a short stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. The lobby area is inviting, with games and a space to relax or get some work done. Breakfast was fresh and had good variety, especially for the price range. It’s located right off the highway, making it perfect for road trips. Overall, it’s a solid and dependable option that delivers good value.

Decent hotel for the money. Rooms were clean, which is the most important. The staff was very friendly. Would stay again if the need arises.

Rooms were great, everything was clean. Nice modern rooms. The bathrooms had a sweet lemon soap - a VERY pleasant break from the linen/ocean scented soaps that a lot of places use. Breakfast was a little disappointing, they only had eggs and cheap heartburn sausage for hot food. Instead of sealed pre-packed cups, their yogurt comes from a dispensing machine that everyone and their children have touched - not something I would eat from.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. After I read the reviews, I thought it would be a good choice. But I found the hotel dirty and worn for being "new". The room floor was dirty. The bathroom was dirty and had mildew already growing in the shower. The sink wouldn't drain and the toilet was loose. The pool also had mold in it. The staff personnel was trying to accommodate us but I wasn't confident any other rooms would be much better. Overall I found this hotel very sub par and in need of some major attention.

Stayed for one night while traveling. I had a king room which was clean and had everything I needed. The property as a whole was also clean and well kept. Several restaurants within a 5 minute drive and a Mexican restaurant 2 minutes walk around the corner. Continental breakfast was good with the usual items and some hot options (biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage patties). Didn't interact with staff except for checking in and out but everyone was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel if needing to stay in the area.

I'm not going to lie. Very relaxed feel to this hotel. It is definitely updated for the most part. There could be more work done. You can tell it's a well used hotel by the scars on the doors and the smells in the hallways. Smells like an old roadway inn. I've I stayed at a lot of Holiday inn expresses and this is bottom of the barrel for the price you pay. It's definitely clean and comfortable but I just feel that it should be maybe $80. I think attention to detail could benefit this place. Service animal friendly.

We arrived to find portable air conditioners in the lobby, and it got worse. There was a strong musty smell in the room, signs of mold, and the bedding felt damp, though it was clean. We left promptly for dinner and turned up the air conditioner in the room in hopes of drying the bedding. It helped a little, but this is the most uninhabitable place I have ever been.

$75 non refundable pet fee on top of the overly priced room. Had to ask the front desk for a new room because the smell in my first room was putrid. I was met with pretty bad customer service upon my request and our second room was no better. Currently sitting in a very humid, out of date, dirty room with gnats flying around that we paid too much money for. This is definitely bottom of the barrel. Would NOT recommend.

The hotel is older, but its still in decent condition. The pool is very exposed as a wall of windows between the lobby and pool area offers no visual barrier. The room I got had a lingering cigarette smell. The bathroom didn't have any fan/vent so it gets humid really quickly and smells really linger for a while. The AC unit was older, so controls were on it rather than on the wall. Though it rattled a lot when in use. Oh, and the elevator rattles. Not hauned.

Disappointing stay compared with the other Hampton Inn's I stayed at on my cross country trip (highly recommend East Ridge TN as a better option that's relatively close and Effingham IL). Room was relatively clean. Common areas were not clean, maintenance doors were left open, security door was left open but fixed once notified, light fixtures were all bent in the hallway, furniture was older and outdated, and the place overall looked disheveled. The breakfast area was not kept up very well. Staff wasn't the friendliest. The coffee station was out of lids and cream. The parking in the back lot was very poorly lit. I would not stay here again for the price. Disappointing because I usually have good luck at Hampton Inn, especially from a cleanliness standpoint. Will be asking for a partial refund. Will consider going to Marriott in the future.

After traveling on the road from Charleston to Tennessee, getting to the hotel to relax was the most important thing on my next move! The receptionist, Mikey, was a ray of sunshine! He was funny, patient and very helpful with providing the best room experience. The first room assigned to me the key did not work, the second time, after re-programming the key, still did not work so he moved me to a bigger and better room same cost! Thank you so much for your natural ability to make every persons hotel experience the best!

We love to stay at Hampton Inn. However this one was not as nice. The bathroom was not clean especially the floor. They ran out of breakfast and the wifi went down which is not there fault. One elevator was also out of service. And the elevator made some noises when in there. That was a little nerve racking After driving all day it was disappointing. We had stayed at a Hampton Inn in Clinton Tennessee as well as defiance Ohio in the last week and those were amazing. This one, not so much.

The gentleman who checked us in was very nice. Unfortunately, it was down downhill from there. We booked this hotel while we were on the road and didn't check the reviews. If we had we probably would have avoided this hotel. The room at first seemed ok...a little dated and had a musty smell, but we could have dealt with that. The refrigerator in the room also did not work well and looked like it had a leak since the cabinet had water damage. It looks like they tried to hide it with black tape, but in the picture you will see it started to come off. About 20 minutes in the room I found an ant crawling on the desk which I quickly squashed. In the bathroom I found another ant after my shower. The ceiling in the shower had black mold, Apparently there was a leak from the shower above. It was after 8:30 pm when we checked in so we felt we didn't have many options to find another place to stay. We zipped up our suitcases to hopefully avoid bugs coming home with us. When we get home our suitcases will be emptied in the garage and everything will go straight into the washing machine. We are finishing up a cross country road trip and we stayed at all Hilton hotels along the way. It's a shame that this last night at a Hilton brand hotel was way below what we expect from Hilton hotels.

I’ll tell you needing a room real fast bringing in some people from out of town to help with a charity event at the front desk brie. She was out outstanding. She not only helped the whole experience go by in like five minutes. Bam got us signed in got the room. Taken care of. My friend was able to stay. I just wanna say huge shout out to this hotel. I will definitely end up using and staying here again thank you for making this tremendously convenient

This place was great. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the staff were awesome. They even went above and beyond trying to help us find a mechanic when we had car trouble. The staff that worked breakfast were super friendly. Overall I would definitely book this hotel again.

Following a nine-hour drive with no suitable accommodations, we were delighted to discover Avid hotel, which offered a clean and economical stay. Matt, the desk staff, was exceptional, providing us with a warm welcome in the midnight hour after a long day. The breakfast staff was a phenomenal team, and during our checkout, we met an amazing individual with a fascinating sports history, having interacted with several notable figures. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we look forward to returning.

This is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Its super clean, brand new, comfortable, and has everything you need. The bed was comfortable, breakfast and coffee were great. The hotels vision is to provide simplicity and cleanliness to their travelers. Honestly, I've give this place 10 stars if I could.

Made a reservation and requested a late check in. Doors were locked when we got there which I understand since we got there late, but nobody was at the front desk and we had to bang on the door for them to let us in. Toenails were on the bedside table. Hair in the shower. Stains on the bedsheets. Probably won’t be going back here unfortunately.

The issue here was staff education. We booked sn ADA roll-in shower room at 12:30 AM. We carried our stuff to the room exhausted after leaving south Florida in the early morning and fighting road construction and Atlanta traffic. Room was not ADA. The commode was low profile with zero grab bars, shower was a walk in with a narrow sliding glass door 26 inch wide entrance and a big lip. No room on either side of bed for my my manual or electrical wheelchair, so I had to crawl over the end of the bed. There was not nearly enough electrical outlets either for charging or CPAP.

Right off the highway for a quick overnight stay. Staff very nice. Not really a breakfast. More like coffee muffin, cold cereal. Room was basically clean and quite. They had a pull down room darkening shade instead of curtains. That was the best! Certainly would stay again.

Booked a double deluxe Queen room, travelled for 12 hours to get to the hotel only to be told that the only remaining room was a single bed king. Asked the guy at the front desk how could they still be listing rooms they currently don’t have, made some excuse that their systems didn’t update. Asked the front desk worker if I’m then going to be charged for the cancellation even tho they don’t have the room which was the whole reason I choose to stay there, said no, I should not be charged. A few hours later I get an email notification that the room has been cancelled but they were charging me over $170. I would not recommend staying here unless it’s your literally only option and even then you’re better going down I-75 a bit to a rest area. I can not believe I was still charged after they falsely advertised having a room (two beds) that we wanted and needed and doing the ole switch-a-roo once we got there.

I was pleased with the appearance and cleanliness of the room aside from the fact that it could have used a good mopping and the shower head needs to be cleaned because it's a little mildewy. Could not connect to Wi-Fi unless I was within 10 ft of the office. Definitely need to add some extenders or remove Wi-Fi from the advertisement. Ice machine needs servicing. Aside from that; very happy with the staff and amenities. I live in Ringgold and may just rent this again just to get a break away from the rv. Very satisfied. 👍🙂👍

Can't help but laugh at the Karen's whining about the free breakfast. It's Super 8 wtf do you expect? Anyway! This place was great. No complaints. Staff is great, room was very clean and the A/C was ice cold. Even the mattress was nice & firm. And for the truckers, there's truck parking in the gravel lot behind pizza hut which is next door. There's also a Taco Bell and a waffle house.

Booked this one vs nearby hotels as it was cheaper and we were only sleeping on a road trip. However, I’d spend the extra few dollars to go somewhere else. The staff was friendly but the room smelled like BO and smoke, and I don’t think they clean it thoroughly as someone before us had hung a “pine tree” air freshener on the clothes rack. Also had a dead bug stuck to the side of the sheet when folded back. The “breakfast” was pathetic even by budget hotel standards. I hate to put a place down, but it’s just not worth the few bucks you save, and honestly an exit or two further south had better hotels cheaper but we were ready to rack out after a long day on the road.

My family visited this hotel for a softball tournament. After being outside in the hot sun all day, we wanted nothing more than a nice, cool room to relax in and that is NOT what we got. The hotel and hallway was 80 degrees. We sweat while checking in, eating breakfast, in the rough elevators and while walking to our room. To make that better, our room would not cool below 75 degrees. I called the front desk within 45 minutes of checking and and trying to cool the room. I was told no problems had been reported with our room and the maintenance man wouldn’t be in until 7:00am the next day. So we had to spend our first night sweating while trying to sleep. The next morning, I went to the front desk to report that we were ready for maintenance to work on our unit. The woman at the front desk was very rude and said our unit was probably frozen, so I repeated that we would like for it to be serviced or our room moved that day. My husband also gave them our numbers so they could tell us when time to move. We returned to the room after another steamy day of softball to see our room at 77 degrees. I called to report this and was told, ‘oh we sold out tonight so I can’t move you. You should have called earlier’. So the ride front desk lady didn’t pass along that we were having problems, did t send maintenance and didn’t get us moved while rooms were still available. Then, as a gold member who spent 60k points on this trip. I was told that nothing could be done for me other than returning 5000 of my points. Apparently this hotel has widespread problems, from the employees to the facility. I would avoid it at all costs because any problem you have will NOT be managed. Terrible Marriott property!!!!

We booked on our way to Florida and enjoyed it so much, we booked for our way back home! We were pleasantly surprised by the pull out bed under the couch in the double queen suite which was perfect for our two kids! The rooms were clean and roomy! The fire pit is such a great touch to relax after a long drive! Danielle was absolutely so sweet and accomodating when we found the pool temperature was way too hot. The moment we notified her she was on the ball and went to adjust it. She exceeded our expectations as far as great service goes both times! Will definitely return here when we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was really busy and options were limited. They were working hard to replenish items as they ran out. The room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool with kids! Things needed to be cleaned better. Glass in the room needed cleaning, edges and corners of room, hallways, elevators needed cleaned. The pool has some trash and things that weren't cleaned over 2 days and there weren't towels stocked. Our bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working and the AC blew directly on to the bed with no way to direct the fan upwards which was uncomfortable. Overall we liked it but a couple things could be improved!

The night staff was great. The two gentlemen working were efficient and friendly. Got to our room and found that the carpets weren’t really vacuumed well, crumbs and dirt in the corners of the bathroom for some strange reason. Pillowcase had a stain that makes you think about maybe checking for bed bugs. None found! 🙌 No trash can in the bathroom, one roll of TP half used already, no tv remote. The nice gentleman from downstairs brought us a remote pretty quickly though. The layout is wonky at a lot of Springhill Suites with the bathroom in the middle of the room, and this one is no different. The light shines through the opaque door so others sleeping get a nice wake up when someone uses the bathroom in the middle of the night. The breakfast was okay. Pretty picked over with an hour left in the timeframe of breakfast hours, but we made do. Overall, I think this could be a great hotel if attention was given to cleaning and basic room necessities.

First, the rooms were very nice. I didn't feel grossed out that I was in a room someone else was, pillows and sheets very clean, smelled nice, nice furniture, clean in general. My scwabble is with the service/staff. We stayed 3 nights. First day no house keeping came. The second day, I told the front desk when we were leaving so house keeping could come by but they didn't. We were running out of towels fast and the trash was piling up. We had to call the front desk for toilet paper because we ran out after the first day since 1 was already empty when we arrived. I used the app the request more towels that never came. The morning we were checking out I asked the front desk at breakfast for 2 bath towels so I could just shower with a fresh towel and they never showed up. The hair blow dryer was broken, melted at the tip and did not work at all. There was no body wash in the pump in the shower. The washer and dryer are $3 a load each and pretty much no where to hang wet bathing suits after swimming in the shower and we had no balcony. At the end, my key card stopped working the day of check out and we had to man each door at the end bc all access was cut off before the 12pm check out time listed on the website, anyway. I will say the best part was the breakfast. The food service staff was on it and always available during breakfast for asking for things. Location wise is ok for 1 night with the bar/grill next door and nice gas station in walking distance, but for everything else was a 15 min drive easy. I would stay at one of these places again to give them another shot, but with the amount of money I spent i was a bit disappointed in the overall service and communication from them.

I really don't understand why this place even has more the. 1 star reviews. The location isn't too bad maybe that's it? Other than that, it's a dirty hotel, especially for the price about $85 a night after taxes. I've stayed in motel 6s that weren't this bad! Check in was easy, parking is ok. Come up to the room, went to shower, mold along the caulking all around the tub. After seeing that thinking ok, not horrible but still, looked under the sink, lots of dirt, and hair chunks. Went to lay down, pulled back sheets, it looks like they don't do well washing them at all. The doors in the hallway slam, constantly causing noises through the night. The AC somewhat works, and of course dirty, the floor is scuffed and damaged. Going down the stairs, completely dirty. Gave us 2 towels, wanted them to come in change sheets, they came in, put 2 towels and washcloths in, and left the room doing nothing else. DO NOT STAY HERE

After a long day of driving we needed a clean reasonably priced hotel for a quick well deserved sleep and shower. Penny was working at the front desk and I felt so welcomed. She gave us a great room, easy check in and was so sweet. I felt like I had met an old long lost friend! The rooms are clean, coffee and muffins for breakfast. Nothing fancy but super nice! I can’t say enough good things! I highly recommend it. Beds were super comfortable! Free wi fi too.

The room was quiet, and staff was extremely polite and helpful. The only reason for 3 stars was the room was quite dirty. Hair left all over the bathroom, wet countertops and the floor was extremely discolored. Also, house keeping woke us up both days at 8am, asking if we wanted the room cleaned. Seemed early to me, especially when checkout isn’t until 11am. Overall, not bad. The location is pretty great but we will probably stay else where.

Dude up front from Jamaica is so very friendly. Very accommodating and polite. Keep him! Off the highway close to multiple food choices. Gas. Park at ur door. Laundry on the breeze way but it’s $4 to wash $4 to dry. No tub just shower in the room I was. Didn’t take advantage of hot breakfast. Beds are comfy good pillows. Quiet. Low volume area. Well lit and affordable
