This was our 1st time renting an inflatable of any kind and they made the process so easy! A few days before our party date I had a question. When I called, someone answered right away. It was so easy and they were so kind from booking to pickup. Would highly recommend!

UPDATE: Upon hearing my complaints, the customer service people I spoke with (Christopher and Heidi) were extremely apologetic about my experience. It turned out that a brand new employee brought a bad pump. I was given a full refund.

I am very dissatisfied with my rental experience. I have rented with Shelf Service for the last few years and never had any trouble until this time (new management I’m told).
First, there was difficulty with delivery. The pump was forgotten. The unit was not staked down. When someone came to bring a pump and I asked them about staking it down, they claimed that we “probably didn’t need it staked down because it wouldn’t be windy and if anything happened to damage the unit I wouldn’t be held responsible.” When the guy left and the unit failed to inflate completely, I called them and they came back with stakes and then had to manually lift from the inside of the inflatable to get the unit to stand upright. But even then, the unit did not seem properly inflated. I brought this to the attention of the secretary later in the day, telling her that as my kids were testing the unit out, it collapsed on them and I suspected that the pump was not large enough. I was nervous it would collapse while kids at the party (the next day) were in it. She assured me she would talk to the boss and see what they could do. I did not hear back from the company on the party day and as I suspected it might, the unit collapsed several times with kids in it. This was an unacceptable experience.

Can not recommend. New owners are not good. Our waterside with pool had no pool, was dirty, and was damaged. Owner agreed to bring the pool out when we said we would bring this back and use someone else, we live 2 hours away, and finally said he would give a discount but turned around and charged us for setup and delivery and didn’t give the discount we agreed to. We have used this company for 7-8 years, but not again. Our latest experience was lost time, frustration, and a less than enjoyable experience mostly due to poor ownership and poor employee management. He never apologized or thanked us for our business. We have routinely driven by many local companies but not anymore. Our experience was poor!

They gave us the wrong slide the first time, when we opened it up (the correct one) it was dirty. It had a couple of holes in it that didn't allow the pools to inflate fully. I have gone theough this company for many years, but was very disappointed with this years rental. Other customers were complaining about the same thing when we were dropping it off. Don't know what changed since last year, but I will likely be looking elsewhere next year. Sucks because I have rented from them every year for the last 7-8 years. They offered no resolution after dropping $400 for the weekend.

Heidi was a joy to work with! She was so gracious and accommodating when I accidentally booked the wrong date! She and her husband were so helpful and had positive attitudes at 7a when we were setting up. They worked with us when our generator didn’t work as expected and delayed the setup process. Would definitely work with the again!!
