The Ringgold Playhouse presents the One-Act Playwriting Showcase by multiple authors. Each showing of the production showcases the top one-act plays penned by local wordsmiths. The showcase has five total performances from May 16th through May 19th. All performances are held at the historic Ringgold Depot. Tickets are available at the door.

Script Submissions

The Ringgold Playhouse will accept new one-act play submissions from local writers from February 1st through March 15th. A panel of readers will then choose two or three plays for production. New, original, unproduced plays written by residents living in the North Georgia/Chattanooga area are eligible for submission. Each playwright must be willing to direct their show or have someone do so on their behalf. Authors need to submit a PDF copy of the formatted script to TheRinggoldPlayhouse@gmail.com. The author’s name should not appear anywhere on the script; however, you should include your name and phone number in the submission email. Doing so will help keep anonymity when panels read each submission. If you have a story you feel needs to be told on our stage, we encourage you to send us your new scripts.
