Bundle up and get downtown for a weekend of festivities, including the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Christmas Parade, pictures with Santa, caroling, Christmas shopping, and more!

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Watch as one of Santa’s elves uses a bit of their Christmas Magic to bring our tree to life with a spectacular display of lights! This tradition kicks off our Downhome Christmas celebration and brings holiday cheer to all. The magnificent tree will be displayed in the heart of Downtown Ringgold at Citizen’s Park, the triangle, at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.

As the Tree is lit, the Downhome Christmas Parade will begin making its way downtown. Keep an eye out for Santa as he leads the parade through the streets of Ringgold! Come as early as 4:00 p.m. to find the perfect spot, and as soon as the Tree is shining bright with Christmas lights, the parade will be spreading a little holiday happiness to all. The Downhome Christmas Parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st and will run the entirety of Nashville Street all the way to the Ringgold Depot.
