The Ringgold Playhouse will accept new one-act play submissions from local writers from February 1st through March 15th. A panel of readers will then choose two or three plays for production. New, original, unproduced plays written by residents living in the North Georgia/Chattanooga area are eligible for submission. Each playwright must be willing to direct their show or have someone do so on their behalf. Authors need to submit a PDF copy of the formatted script to TheRinggoldPlayhouse@gmail.com. The author’s name should not appear anywhere on the script; however, you should include your name and phone number in the submission email. Doing so will help keep anonymity when panels read each submission. If you have a story you feel needs to be told on our stage, we encourage you to send us your new scripts.
