Event Description

Dolly Parton was married in Ringgold in 1966! Since then, the beloved Country singer has become an icon in Ringgold and has inspired an astounding event in her honor. With live music, food trucks, shopping, look-alike contests, line dancing, and more, Dolly Day has something for everyone to enjoy!

The day starts with the delightful Dolly Dash, which includes 1 mile, 5k, and 10k options for participants. Money raised from the Dash benefits The Rec Project, Lift, Lighthouse Ministry Trip, and Flourish Foster Care. Dolly Dash Routes

Below are the routes for the 1-mile fun run, the 5k, and the 10k races.

Road Closures

There are two sets of closures on Saturday, May 11th: one from 7 to 11 A.M. and the other from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. 

The detour route will be more significant during the Dolly Dash. Traffic will have to detour around the downtown area and go up by the high school. This is the 7 to 11 A.M. closures.After the race, Nashville Street, from Tennessee Street to Cleveland Street, will be reopened. Therefore, the typical truck route will be back in effect. This is the 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. closures. Maps of these closures are below.
